Deeplina Deka (দীপলিনা ডেকা) also known as Pori is a multi-talented Indian Assamese singer and actor from Guwahati, Assam. Deeplina makes her debut with the Assamese box office hit movie, “Mission China” directed by Zubeen Garg. Electrical Engineer by education Deeplina is a famous singer in Assam by profession. Early Life
Deeplina was born in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati. At the age of two, she shifted to Jagiroad, where she did her schooling from Jyotiniwas English Catholic School and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jagiroad. After completing her schooling, she moved back to Guwahati to pursue higher secondary from Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri.

Deeplina pursued Electrical engineering from GIMT, Guwahati. She was regularly active in singing, dancing and dramatics competition in Colege.
This multi-talented girl is also a trained Kathak dancer and holds a Visharad degree in classical music.
